• Occupation. He left Oudtshoorn about 1901 and first practised as an attorney in Uniondale and in 1906 moved his practice to Dealesville in the Orange Free State where he met and married Abeline Schoeman who was a teacher in the same town. • Religion. The DRC was the only church in Dealesville, and the family belonged to it. All children were christened there but the daughters atttended Eunice in Bloemfontein and all went to the Methodist Church. Bazett married Abeline SCHOEMAN on Dec 24, 1907. (Abeline SCHOEMAN was born on Aug 7, 1887 and died on Jun 9, 1973.) |
