• Death. 1 He died on the beryl mine he was working in the MToko district, the day before his birthday. His step-daughter Helena and her whole family were visiting at the time, and it was a very traumatic experience for all. Even the youngest who was 9, remembers it clearly to this day, over 50 years ago.
