• Family. She is a twin with her sister Olga
• Historical. 1 After meeting SP at the Newlands rugby field Alma was surprised to receive a phone call one day asking her to a dance. She accepted and just before the dance mentioned to her friends that she could not remember what he looked like. She was told - “just look for the big chap with good manners - who, when he takes his hat off - is bald”
• Occupation. 2 Both Olga and Alma went to Teachers Training College in Cape Town where they qualified as teachers.
