• Accidental Death. Reported in the Argus Newspaper,(Melbourne, Victoria, 1848-1954) Wednesday 23 July 1947 (Page5) :- • Historical. Some data gleaned from a message from Helen Pringle dated 17 Dec 2010 about Richard Wright Albertson whose family moved from England to Australia in 1885, is as follows:- Some time before 1896 Richard had a child with Ellen Albertson (nee Rule) who died in Western Australia (WA) in 1896. He was in a theatre troupe by then and went to Mount Magnet where he became town clerk and met Elizabeth Pringle. Richard then went to South Africa and Elizabeth followed, bringing the child of Ellen Albertson with her. Richard and Elizabeth had a large family in Rhodesia. Elizabeth died in 1941, and Richard in 1947. The news of his death was published in an Australian newspaper Richard married Elizabeth PRINGLE. (Elizabeth PRINGLE was born on Apr 17, 1877 in Glasgow Scotland.) Richard had a relationship with Ellen RULE. (Ellen RULE died in 1896 in Western Australia.) |
