• Ordination: as NG minisrer and was a missionary: Zoutpansberg. 1 Samuel assisted as missionary first in Uitenhage and Oudsthoorn before becoming minister in Britstown and later Soutpansberg. He founded the mission in Banyailand before malaria forced him southwards where he led the first evangelical movement in the Transkei.
