On 29 Dec 1891, Alfred is admitted into the care of the Fulham Union, and Attends the West London District School. On the 2nd May 1900, he is discharged to Uncle.
The West London District School was a residential school located in Ashford in Middlesex, catering for 800 children
At age of 21 he was a medical student.

• Military Service. Percy served as a Captain Surgeon with the Brittish South African Police during WW1

• Travel. Email from Dot&Mark dated 28?10/08 stated that Percy (known as Gus) and wife Elizabeth Jane travelled to England in July 1936, May 1937, July 1948 and April 51. Also (one or both) took a flight on Pan American World Airways Inc. in Dec 1956. Percy was 76 at the time and Elizabeth Jane was 20 years younger,
Ancestry.com reports that Percy aged 57 travelled from Durban to Southampton on the Winchester Castle arriving on 31 May 1937

• Divorce. Percy divorced Gwendolene in 1926 and married Elizabeth Jane Pharaoh later.

• Residence. According to his Death Notice his ordinary place of residence was 3 Driefontein, Sandown, Johannesburg
Also present at his death were step children named Florence Mary Walters (relationship not found) and Frederick Edward Peall who we think may have been his son and entered as such meantime. (Dec 2008)

• Alt Birth. The 1881 England Census gave his age as 1 hence an alternate birth date is 1880

Percy married Elizabeth Jane Pharaoh. (Elizabeth Jane Pharaoh was born in 1899 in Blackpool, England. and died in 1970.)
