bullet  Events:

1. Historical, 1856. 5 After helping in Zuurbraak for many years, Henry moved to Heidelberg aged 40 in 1856. He bought a plot, and built a home and a shop, and began to hold services under a shady thorntree. By 1859 a small church had been erected, but as he was not yet ordained his brother Daniel came from Zuurbraak to give the sacrament. Thus was founded the Independent Church of Heidelberg (Cape). Henry was ordained after Henry had died.
