• Family. In M.E. Pretorius Page 41, Margaret Cairns (Rondebosch, Cape Town, 25.2.1988) states "Helena always is mentioned as Vosloo. This must have given rise to her inclusion in De Villiers/Pama as a child of Jan Vosloo. To my way of thinking, she was not because (a) he disinherited her completely and (b) he stated categorically that he had no living issue."
Helena married Johannes PRETORIUS, son of Johannes PRETORIUS and Geertruyda Meyntjes VAN HASSELT. (Johannes PRETORIUS was christened on Sep 22, 1680 in Cape Town South Africa and died circa 1732.) |
