In Extracts from an old family bible in Alice Kitcing's scrapbook, Elizabeth Anna was "born at Griquatown on Saturday the 13th day of April 1816"

• Historical, Mar 1838, Pacaltsdorp South Africa. 7 8 Sir George Napier, Governor (of the Cape?) and his Military Secretary Major Chartries, visited the Infant School being run by Elizabeth, an attractive 22 year old brunette, who on being complimented on her excellent work said that it was her elder sister, Johanna, who had laid the foundations and they both owed a lot to the training they had received under Miss Lyndale in Cape Town.

• Alt. Burial. 9 This source has conflicting information in that she was burried with her husband in Missionaries Acre, Zuurbraak.

• Alt Death, 1892. 10 This source gives alternate date of death as 24 Feb 1892
