1. Occupation, 1855, Swellendam South Africa. 6 7 8 She and her sister Wilhelmina opened a school at Swellendam(Morgenzon) which they called "the Home" after their father's death, whilst their elder sister Kitty(Catherine) attended to the domestic part. After nearly 20 years in Swellendam, these highly respected ladies retired to Zuurbraak where they joined their widdowed sister Johanna and live out their lives there.
