• Obituary: Millitary Service, 1939-1945, W W 2. Flt.Lt.Albertson was a Pathfinder in the RAF in WW2, pilotting Mosquito aircraft.

• Military Award, Abt 1943, Bulawayo Zimbabwe. He was awarded the Air Force Cross for the heroic rescue of a trainee pilot in a flying accident which occurred near Bulawayo, Zimbabwe before going overseas in 1944
