It has not been ascertained where William (1724) died, but is at present presumed to be here.
• Religion. 6 P26 of Source states that he was a Dissenter of the Independent Denomination and was burried in Bunhill Fields, the famous Non-Conformist burial ground in England. • Occupation. 7 According to a scrapbook compiled by Alice Kitching, married to George Elliot Caldwall Anderson, there is a statenent by Maria Elizabeth Anderson that William was a silk merchant in partnership with Messrs Reid and Green in London. • Historical. 4 Following on the Event recorded for Margaret, the citation found for William read as follows :- "George Anderson in Wagley had a child baptised named William. Witnesses: George Anderson and (illegible writing) in Salty(?) and Andrew Hace(?) Note that the witness, George Anderson, may not be the father but was probably a relative. • 0ccupation. 8 Check Date for transmission to Edward William married Catherine Turner on 5 Jul 1768 in Saint Botolph, Bishopsgate, London, U.K..1 (Catherine Turner was born about 1738 in Devonshire, England,5 died on 12 Mar 1797 2 3 5 and was buried in Bunhill Fields, London 5.)
• Marriage. 1 IGI Individual Record MOO1611 (1754-1784) Source Call No. 0380147 for Catherine Turner gives her marriage to William Anderson on the 5 July 1768 and reveals the location of the marriage at Saint Botolph, Bishopsgate. London. |
